How Domicium contacts you
In-app notifications always, email where it is configured, and no text messages — stated plainly so you do not wait for one.
In the app
In-app notifications need no delivery service. Writing the record is the delivery, so this channel works whatever else is or is not configured. They appear on your dashboard, newest first, and unread ones are marked.
By email
Email is sent through Resend, and only when both an API key and a sending address are configured for the deployment. Where they are not, the platform reports the channel as unconfigured rather than marking messages sent that were never sent.
Not by text message
The code can send SMS and WhatsApp through Hubtel, but the credentials for it are not set. Treat text messages as unavailable.
This matters for one thing in particular: nobody from Domicium will text you asking for money or for a payment reference. If you receive such a message, it did not come from here.
Rent reminders and arrears notices are generated once per ageing stage, so you hear when a balance falls overdue and again if it ages further — not every day.
