What you need

A name, an email address and a password of at least eight characters. Creating a renter account is free.

  1. 1Open the sign-up page and choose what you are here to do.
  2. 2Enter your full name, email and password.
  3. 3Tick the box accepting the Terms of use and the Privacy policy.
  4. 4Create the account, then log in.

The acceptance box is never pre-ticked, and the server checks it again after the browser does. Consent that was not given by a deliberate act is not consent.

You do not need a Ghana Card to search

Browsing, saving homes and messaging a landlord do not require identity documents from you. Identity verification is what a lister has to complete before a property can reach public search.

Renters do have a verification tier of their own, and a landlord reviewing applications can see it. A higher tier tells a landlord that a person, not just an email address, is applying.

Where identity documents are kept

Ghana Card images and selfies are stored in private buckets, separate from the public photo buckets that hold property pictures. They are readable only by you and by platform staff, and they are reached through short-lived signed links rather than a public URL.

No other user ever sees them. A landlord reviewing your application sees your name and your verification tier, not your documents.
