Seeing prices in your own currency

The currency switcher converts for readability. Cedis is what the tenancy is in, and the rates behind the conversion are indicative.

How the switcher works

Pick GHS, USD, GBP or EUR from the switcher and every price on the site is displayed in it — the rent, the advance, the deposit and the move-in total.

Cedis is the real number

The cedi amount is the one the listing is in and the one a tenancy would be denominated in. The other three are a display convenience laid over it.

The rates are indicative

Conversion uses fixed reference rates held in the application. There is no live foreign-exchange feed behind them.

So use the converted figure to get your bearings, not to plan a transfer. What your bank charges you, and the rate it gives you on the day, will differ.

Before you move money, work from the cedi figure and get the rate from whoever is actually sending it.
