Your Ghana Card and selfie
The most sensitive things we hold, kept in private storage and reached only through short-lived signed links.
Why they are collected
To confirm that a person is who they claim to be before they can list a property or enter a tenancy. This is the check that makes a verified landlord badge mean anything, and it is the platform's main defence against listing fraud.
Where they are stored
Identity documents, selfies, ownership and tenant documents, agreements, inspection reports, maintenance evidence, complaint evidence and receipts all live in private storage buckets.
Only listing photographs and videos are in public buckets. Nothing sensitive is served from a public image URL, and nothing sensitive is reachable by guessing a path.
How they are retrieved
Authorised staff reviewing your evidence receive a signed link that expires after a few minutes. The link is minted at the moment of review rather than stored anywhere, so there is no durable URL to leak.
Access is written to an append-only audit log that cannot be edited or deleted, including by an administrator.
What is never done with them
They are never shown to other users. Other people see the resulting verification tier and the type of checks that were completed, nothing more.

- Not used for marketing.
- Not sold.
- Not used to train models.
Nobody on the platform will ever ask you to send a Ghana Card by message or email. If someone does, report it.
