Signing your agreement, and the signing certificate
Both parties sign in-platform. Each version is hashed, so a later change to the text shows up.
Signing happens in-platform
Each party signs on their own tenancy page. The signature records who signed, in what role, and when, against a specific version of the agreement.
There is no integration with a third-party e-signature provider. Signing is in-platform only.
The signing certificate
Each agreement version's content is hashed when it is written. The certificate page recomputes the hash and compares it, so if the text were altered afterwards the check would fail rather than pass quietly.
The certificate also lists the signatures and their timestamps.
Read these before you sign
- The rent, and how often it falls due
- The advance, and the deposit, as separate figures
- The notice period for ending the tenancy
- Who pays for electricity, water and internet
- Whether subletting needs written consent
- What can be deducted from your deposit, and on what evidence
After both parties have signed
Signing records the agreement and the signatures. It does not by itself start the rent schedule.
If your tenancy still shows as pending once both parties have signed, raise it with your landlord or manager rather than assuming it will activate on its own.
